SYSTEM DESIGN

The challenge given to me in this module was to cover crafts from a systemic point of view and thereby, it is important to look at crafts across India i.e. collectively rather than individually to understand it as a system. When taken together, the ‘Crafts of India’ become a complex systemwith multitudinal angles, benefits and deviants, its stakeholders, customers, etc. There are multiple reasons as to why the nature of the craft is a wicked problem to solve!

360 degree view of the search topic ‘Indian Crafts & Indigenour People’ encompassing the following :

1. Building a ‘Resilient Craft Cluster’ by understanding their past, current
and possible future
2. Impact of ‘Colonialism’ on the Crafts of India
3. Multifaceted issues/ deviants prevailing in this sector
4. Government Initiatives & aids provided : Benefic & Malefic
5. Glass Ceiling existing in Craft Sector
